You have a project idea and a competition deadline. Before inviting collaborators, read the participation rules: the organizer may require a team size, approve membership or close team formation before submissions end.
Create the team with those constraints in mind. A list of people you intend to invite is not the accepted team you can rely on when submitting.
Find collaborators for a defined role
Describe the work you need and the time commitment. Search the talent directory by category and inspect the relevant profiles and portfolio references. Load further results if the first page does not contain a suitable match.
Use the saved profile information to start the discussion. Missing availability or budget means the creator has not provided that detail; a competition result does not fill the gap. Ask before assuming that someone can join.
Invite through the team talent search, an available profile action or an email invitation. Joining by code can also help when you already know the intended members.
Confirm acceptance and responsibilities
Track pending invitations separately from accepted members. Check the member list and the captain notification after acceptance. An invitation you sent moments before a deadline does not establish active membership.
Agree who prepares the deliverables, who reviews them and who submits for the team. Discuss credit and how you would share a prize before sending the entry. Dexyd does not distribute winnings among teammates.
Check whether the team needs organizer approval, whether it is locked and whether the formation deadline has passed. If the submission form offers no eligible team, resolve membership or eligibility before trying to send work.
Submit work under the competition rules
Open the competition submission form and select the eligible team. Provide the title and description, then supply the requested deliverables in Files. Wait for uploads to finish and review the final step before confirming.
For a daily challenge, use the eligible day or time window. Review the AI policy and include the requested disclosure. A team entry follows the same submission limits as the configured competition format; team membership does not grant unlimited repeat entries.
Follow the saved status and moderation notifications. The organizer may receive a new-submission alert before an approved creation appears in the public count.
Decide whether the team continues
After the event, archive a finished team or use the available conversion to a permanent team if you will keep working together. Discuss that decision with members before reusing the team identity for another project.
An organization can help later if you need shared publication, role-based management and a separate plan. You can keep your personal sign-in account while joining that organization.
Use the team guide for the account actions and the submission guide for entry checks.
